Perteneci&oacute; a la Orden de San Benito o de benedictinos. Habr&aacute; nacido hacia 1660, a juzgar por la fecha que da M&aacute;ximo Fuertes Acevedo de su profesi&oacute;n en el convento de San Zoil, de Carri&oacute;n de los Condes (Palencia), el 31 de julio de 1678. Seg&uacute;n dicho autor, fu&eacute; por espacio de muchos a&ntilde;os archivero en ese monasterio.
